An unexpected blessing…(the best ones usually are!): Quickstar Productions called last fall to ask if I wanted to participate in a compilation album they were putting together with their church to help raise funds for an anti-malaria clinic in Uganda. The album was released in late spring 2009, and I am super stoked to be a part of what they’re doing to help the people of West Ankole and the surrounding regions. More information below…and check out iTunes (or any other online music source) for sound clips and to purchase the album online .
Partnering with the Diocese of West Ankole in southwestern Uganda, St. Timothy’s Church has adopted a health clinic called the Nyambabare Clinic. The clinic provides basic health care to an impoverished community of two thousand people. One of the biggest challenges that the clinic faces is malaria. It is epidemic in the region. Through your support of this CD, and the artists on it, you are helping to keep the clinic stocked with anti-malarial medications and mosquito nets.

I have just been contacted by Quickstar saying they would like me to be a part of their next compilation CD. I’m trying to determine their legitimacy and if it is going to be worth it to participate. How has your experience been so far? Thank you.
